How to get the Emergency First Aid At Work qualification with a course by Sigma

Students who meet the criteria of their instructor’s practical assessment for the duration of the training receive a qualification which lasts for 3 years. Sigma Studies highly recommend that all students return for a 3-hour refresher programme every year to keep skills sharp. Class sizes are kept small, with just 12 students being trained at a time, so you can get plenty of guidance and support from your trainer.

You can get qualified from the age of 14, but responsibility in the workplace cannot be assumed until an employee is 16 years of age and the certificate will expire as dated on the certificate, irrespective of age. A certificate can be offered to all, subject to assessment, however it is the responsibility of the employer to determine whether a student is suitable for the role. First Aid training can be carried out on your site to save you time and money otherwise spent travelling to a specific venue.
