Candidates need to complete a minimum of 35 hours training and pass each of the four tests in order to pass their course. The first part is a theory test there you are given a series of multiple choice questions and a hazard perception test. Then candidates are presented with case studies that relate to real life scenarios which test your ability to put knowledge into practice. The practical driving test is the third step and will assess driving skills in a variety of conditions, including a reversing exercise and on-road assessment. Finally, the demonstration section tests your knowledge of vehicle safety.
