This is because Driver CPC improves driving standards and keeps road users safe, so if you are found to be driving on a license that is not valid or legal, there is a potential fine of £1000.

Driver CPC training is made up of four different stages and each needs to be passed in order to continue to the next.

Step 1 – Theory Test

Multiple Choice Questions and Hazard Perception test, both of which you will need to pass.

Step 2 – Case Study

Answer questions based on real-life situations that you might come across in your working life.

Step 3 – Practical Driving Test

Designed to assess your driving ability including a reversing exercise, on-road assessment and independent driving assessment.

Step 4 – Vehicle Safety Demonstration

Passing enables drivers to drive a lorry, bus or coach for professional reasons.
