Driver CPC course details
You will spend 5 days on the course, as this is sufficient to meet the 35 hour minimum requirement, and there are four steps consisting of both theory and training.
Step 1 – Theory Test
Drivers must correctly answer multiple choice questions and pass a hazard perception test.
Step 2 – Case Study
Each case study has a series of questions about a real-life scenario you are likely to come across in your working life, testing your knowledge and how it would be applied to a situation.
Step 3 – Practical Driving Test
Candidates are required to pass a practical driving test with an examiner and this will assess driving abilities in different conditions and on various types of road.
Step 4 – Vehicle Safety Demonstration
This practical test is where drivers are asked to demonstrate their ability and what they have been taught on the course.
