Novice Forklift

Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER) requires that “Every employer shall ensure that all persons who use work equipment have received adequate training for the purpose of health & safety”. Sigma offers a whole range of forklift courses including Counterbalance, Rough terrain, Very Narrow Aisle (VNA), etc. RTITB certification or In-house certification available.

Depending on your experience whether you are a novice or an experienced driver in using Forklifts, Sigma offers courses that will meet your requirements.

All of our in house courses: Provision of ID card with photograph Certificate of basic training

Novice Course (2-5 days)

Aimed at candidates with no previous experience.

On-site forklift driver training is offered on a tailored basis to fit in with your requirements!

Depending on what is needed, Sigma can also offer RTITB accredited courses, enabling the forklift driver to get registered by an approved examination body and recognised in the industry. Training will be given using your vehicles to provide staff training on the equipment they know.

Candidates will receive a full set of notes which will be useful when running the business.
