How can Driver CPC training help me?
Driver CPC, officially referred to as the Driver Certificate of Professional Competence, was first brought in late 2008 across the EU to maintain high driving standards and improve road safety for all road users. New drivers are able to get their Initial Driver CPC qualification quickly, whilst we also offer excellent Periodic Driver CPC. Our training will increase your awareness of potential dangers while driving, effectively preparing you for any hazardous situations you might face in your working life. The qualified instructors running your course aim to improve your existing bus, lorry, LGV or PCV operation knowledge over the course of 5 days, each lasting 7 hours.
The Driver CPC training stages:
There are four steps in Driver CPC, both theory and training based:
Step 1 – Theory Test
Multiple Choice Questions and Hazard Perception.
Step 2 – Case Study
Questions about real-life scenarios you are likely to come across in your working life.
Step 3 – Practical Driving Test
A practical driving test with an examiner to assess the driving ability of the driver.
Step 4 – Vehicle Safety Demonstration
A practical test that will ask drivers to demonstrate their ability and what has been taught on the course.
